FAQ

Here you will find the answer to all your most frequently asked (and often completely unrelated to writing) questions.

Question: In Australia do you all ride kangaroos to school?

Answer: What kind of country would we be if we didn’t utilize one of our national emblems as green transport? We also wrestle crocodiles and great white sharks on a regular basis, though only for fun and no animals are ever harmed during the process. We’re just that bad ass as a nation.

Question: So what is Arcadium?

Answer: Ooh sneaky. But not telling. Just read the darned book already!

Question: What’s your favourite book of all time?

Answer: Ooh, um… good question. Tough question. I’m just going straight to the list!
Dinotopia: A Land Apart from Time, Rainbow Six, Area 51 (Matthew Reilly), All Quiet on the Western Front, Catcher in the Rye, Jurassic Park and ALL of the Tomorrow When the War Began series by John Marsden.

Some of my fav young adult books: Furnace by Alexander Gordan Smith, Divergent by Veronica Roth, The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness, Third Day The Frost by John Marsden, Life as We Knew It by Susan Pfeffer, The Fault in Our Stars by John Green, and about a bizillion more. Also there’s this amazing book called Arcadium (wink, wink, nudge, nudge).

Question: Will there be a sequel to Arcadium?

Answer: Yes. Woo! Flo and her posse will be back in Skylight, on July 2, 2014. Er and I couldn’t fit it all in one book so there will be a third book coming out to wrap up the series.

Question: How do you have your tea?

Answer: Milk no sugar, in the prettiest cup you’ve got. Cheers.
